8 year old Fordingbridge RFC rugby player Elliott Murphy decided that he wanted to keep fit and raise some money for a local charity. He decided to run 11 km to his local rugby club Fordingbridge RFC with his Dad who is a coach at the club. Elliott completed his run in 1h 3mins and in doing so has raised over £1,700 raised so far for @TrussellTrust Foodbanks.

Also another U8 Fordingbridge player Izzie donated the £10 she had in her money box to Captain Tom and wanted to do more so she came up with the idea of doing her own walk, so she is doing a sponsored 10k walk on 9th May to raise money for the NHS charity Together.

They have now inspired other members of the Fordingbridge RFC under 8s to do their own challenges and raise money for those less fortunate.
