Building on the success of our last event back in November (16 New Women players & 28 men that play occasional rugby including 3 that have never played before)J I am delighted to share the next two ‘Friday Night Under Light’ dates that coincide with the 6 Nations.
Date, Venue & Time:
- ·21stFebruary Eastleigh RFC Arrive 1815, Briefing 1845, KO between 1900-1915
- ·13th March Eastleigh RFC Arrive 1815, Briefing 1845, KO between 1900-1915
Please remember the Aim of the Evenings is to help our clubs retain, recruit and engage players and provide social rugby:
- ·Re engage those players that are not able to commit to regular training and Saturday Rugby
- ·Provide more game time for the developing
- ·Help players transitioning from touch rugby to contact rugby in a safe and controlled environment
- ·Parents that coach their children that have little or no playing experience
- ·Provide opportunity for Parents to play with sons & daughters / friends to play together
Referees / Medical: The England Rugby Development team will referee games and a qualified first aider / physio will be present.
Remember a Complementary Pint or Softie plus Food: will be provided for all those that play
Entries: I/C in charge of teams if you would be good enough to confirm numbers to me for the first event no later than 1600 Wednesday 19th February this will enable me to make arrangements with the club, first aid staff and volunteers that will assist on the evening.
