Are you ready for the new season?

Here is the URL that takes you to the GMS login screen direct ...

Here is a  checklist of actions to make sure you’re all set for the new season, getting the most out of GMS and your club has the best support possible:

1. Are your ‘golden roles’ up to date after your AGM?
• Do the right people in your club have access to GMS and have they been updated after any governance changes? Prospective players and volunteers will see this information on FindRugby.com and so it is important that golden roles are kept up to date, enabling them to make contact.

2. Are your team roles up to date?
• Who is coaching your teams this season? Make sure the ‘Teams’ section within GMS is up to date to keep everyone informed. Within the Reports tile of the Organisation Profile section of GMS, administrators can view all coaches and their qualifications.

3. Have you contacted your playing members to invite them back for the season?
• You can email anyone that exists in your GMS dashboard straight from the system, a great chance to reach out to current and lapsed members.

4. Are your registrars ready for the new season?
• Does everyone know their role? Make sure you check that all players are recorded on GMS ahead of the new campaign. To check you are up to date with the RFU regulations for the relevant team you administer, click here

There are some new Updates to GMS

Team Management:  The team management module makes managing teams easy, with teams and fixtures in one central location. Users can create fixtures in bulk, send requests and notifications, in addition to updating existing match information. This new functionality will be available to club administrators next week.

A new Team Management module in GMS will be available from 30-8-17, providing you with a ‘one-stop shop’ to view and manage fixtures for all teams within your club for this upcoming season.

The module will help clubs easily manage their rugby across all age groups, helping sustain and grow the playing base. Data captured within this tile will also provide a clear picture to clubs of any support needed (numbers of coaches vs number of teams) and will assist the RFU in looking at, and predicting, trends over time.

As club administrators, the module will provide you with the ability to:

  • View fixtures and results for all teams within your club
  • Create or upload manually entered fixtures
  • Accept or reject fixture requests from opposing teams
  • Enter results and match information for manually created fixtures
  • Update the match time for fixtures entered via the RFU competition system

Improved Content: Receive the latest updates in GMS via a news banner which will highlight any notifications that you should be made aware of. The GMS Hub and help pages within the system will offer enhanced resources to ensure you get the most out of the system. Messages will appear to all users upon logging into GMS.

Club Benefits Guide: If you are new to your club role you may also wish to refer to the Club Benefits Guide which provides additional resources to support you in your role.
