Monday afternoon saw London Irish U18’s march to victory in the Academy final when they beat Gloucester 32-12.


In the exiles side were two products of The Hampshire Way.


Jarod Leat (ex-Havant) and Harry Butler (ex-Basingstoke) who will now be heading up to Leeds to take part in England U18 and U17 training camps this week.


Harry has had a great first season with London Irish and has started regularly in both Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence(AASE) and Academy teams.


If Harry is selected, he will face France in April.


Jarod is now in his second year at Irish in their AASE and U18 Academy side and is part of a 35 man England U18 squad, from which 23 will be selected to face France then Wales.


After that the U18’s go into the 5 Nations tournament over Easter followed by a tour of South Africa in the Summer.
