Careful consideration needs to be given to this activity in order that coaches do no breach either the Government Guidelines or RFU Safeguarding Policy .

The Government has stated that if you are a personal trainer/coach you can now work with clients outdoors, providing you are alone and only meeting with 1 person from outside of your household, outdoors, and you are staying a minimum of 2 meters apart.

RFU Safeguarding Policy is quite clear and must be adhered to.

'To provide a safe environment, clubs should ensure that their volunteers and employees when working with children avoid working in isolation out of the sight of parents or other volunteers'
